A companion built for caregivers

AI that eases
the burden of care

Every hour caregivers spend on documentation means less time caring for patients, increased stress and higher staff turnover. With voize, nurses and caregivers speak naturally in the moment of care, and voize creates comprehensive, timely documentation that syncs to your existing EHR in real time.

No end-of-shift charting. No unplanned overtime. No administrative burnout. voize is care for caregivers.

The cost of care

Longer shifts.

Endless charting.

Caregiver burnout.

  • 600–800 data points daily

Nurses individually document between 600–800 data points per shift in their EHR.

  • 41 % of time

  • 69 % of nurses

  • $ 9 billion

  • 80 % of nurses

  • Care, unburdened

    Seamless charting creates better care.

Shifts run smoother, care feels easier, and nurses can get back to doing what they love.

    More care time, less overtime

voize integrates charting directly into nurses' workflows, giving back 5+ hours per week. This means less after-hours admin and more time with patients.

    Happier nurses, higher retention

Burnout is the leading cause of turnover for caregivers. With voize, there’s no end-of-shift charting stress, no struggling to keep mental notes.

Caregivers are more present with their patients, increasing workplace satisfaction for valued team members.

    Accurate charting, better reimbursement

Charting done hours after care can miss details that matter. When charting happens in the moment, entries are comprehensive, accurate, and compliant.

That means fewer rejected claims, more accurate reimbursement rates that reflect the care delivered and built-in CMS survey-readiness.

    Proven results

    Care with a positive ROI.

Easing the documentation burden on nurses not only gives them back their time, it reduces overtime and boosts employee satisfaction. That translates into higher retention rates, lower turnover costs, and lower workforce costs.

    Why voize?

voize is the companion for caregivers.

Purpose-built for skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, voize is trained on clinical terminology, nursing workflows, and the documentation demands of long-term care.

voize was created to reduce the burden of documentation and improve care delivery so shifts run seamlessly, allowing caregivers to spend more time where it matters.

    Natural speech becomes structured documentation.

voize is more than just a scribe. Caregivers speech becomes structured, compliant documentation categorized into relevant forms, such as vital signs, fluid intake, and care reports.

    Online or Offline.

Care doesn’t wait for a network connection and neither does voize. Our app functions offline and syncs in the background as soon as a connection becomes available.

voize screenshot: two phones display offline-capable features such as speech recognition and form filling.

    Name recognition.

In everyday care, every name matters. voize reliably recognizes residents and assigns documentation to the right person.

    EHR System Synchonization

voize works inside, not just alongside, your facility’s existing EHR system. Entries immediately land where they belong, without detours or need for duplicate documentation.

Schematic of the direct EGH integration: connext VIVENDI connects via the voize gateway to the voize app.

No need for manual follow-ups. No time delay when entering notes. Once the entry is confirmed, it instantaneously appears across shifts, profiles, and devices.

    Grammar correction

Speaking is easier than typing. With voize, natural language is assisted by grammar correction, supporting non-native speakers in documentation.

"Our nurses are in a constant battle for time between care delivery and documentation and documentation has been winning. When we evaluated voize, I wasn't looking for another piece of technology. I was looking for something that would give my nurses time back. The reaction from our staff during the evaluation told me everything I needed to know."

"What surprised me most was how natural it felt for staff to use. A lot of healthcare technology can feel clunky or add more work, but this actually seemed to fit into caregivers’ normal workflow pretty quickly. Seeing nurses able to document in real time while staying present on the unit was really impressive."

"One week in: I could already tell if a progress note is done by voize, it is more complete and better quality. If I see a complete note done in the middle of the day, chances are that it is a voize note. We have much more timely progress notes. Nurses have now started documenting directly as things happen."

"In 2019, before voize, our overtime hours per employee were 82% higher. Now, they are almost zero. This is economically great for a facility because you no longer need to set aside overtime reserves. Those who document promptly at the bedside don't stay on shift any longer than needed."

    FAQ

    What exactly is voize?

voize is a voice documentation app built specifically for long-term care and skilled nursing facilities. Caregivers simply speak into a phone throughout their shift, and voize’s AI converts their speech into structured EHR data entries. The result is better, more complete documentation, less time behind a computer, and more time providing care.

How does voize handle different accents?

voize is purpose-built for international clinical settings, and handles everything from Southern accents to non-native English speakers. Our models are continuously learning from actual usage, and caregivers can always review and edit notes before they're finalized.

    How can i learn more?

You can schedule a demo [here], or give us a ring at [phone number].

Does voize integrate with our EHR?

Yes! voize integrates directly with all major EHRs for skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Integration is bi-directional.

Does the AI fix my grammar or change what I say?

voize does clean up grammatical issues, and maps your speech to fixed data fields. It does not add or assume any information. All data entries need to be approved (or edited) by the caregiver on the device- there’s always a human in the loop.

Will my staff actually use voize?

Our record speaks for itself: 96% of voize users continue to use voize daily long after onboarding. Over 200,000 nurses and CNAs use voize globally, and because speaking is faster and more natural than typing, most staff prefer voize within days.

What devices does voize work with?

voize works with any iPhone or Android from the last 5 years.

Do I need phone lines? What if my facility’s WiFi goes down?

No phone lines necessary! voize works with WiFi, and even works offline if the wifi goes down or is spotty.

    How are the phones managed?

Phones are owned and managed by the facility, and voize works with your IT department to set up proper Mobile Device Management (MDM). This means you can ensure the phones aren’t used for other purposes, and can’t be used off-site or otherwise grow legs.
